The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a reimbursement-based grant program in Pennsylvania that is impacting Berks County in a positive way.
BerksIDA is currently managing Berks County RACP projects worth over $35M in impact. These projects are an investment in our community, by not only creating new employment opportunities, but also supporting local business growth in our area.
The Olivet Boys and Girls Club, The Rose Corporation and Albright College are a few of the Berks County projects that have been awarded RACP funds.
One recent RACP success is the newly-renovated Albright College Library. The Library, long a focal point and icon of the campus, required over $11M in investment to modernize it to the college’s present-day needs. Today, it supports the academic needs of the students with collaborative rooms, conference spaces and a campus café in a newly renovated space.
